Much like race, beauty is a social construct based on culturally and historically specific attributes, rather than solely physical attractiveness. It is defined and measured using the intersections of race, class, and gender. In the past, beauty definitions were closely tied to white womanhood, associating it with beauty and virtue, while black womanhood was often portrayed oppositely.
It is essential to acknowledge the enduring presence of black beauty throughout history. Black is beautiful and has always been so.
Although strides have been made in redefining beauty norms, it's important to recognize that this progress has been impacted by manipulation and exploitation.

It is important to note that slight dings on the corners may occur during shipping.
Individual variations in monitor color settings may result in slight discrepancies in the perceived colors of the artwork. Please be assured that all images are retouched to depict the actual colors as closely as possible.
To ensure the longevity of the artwork, it is recommended to refrain from exposing the collage to direct sunlight and to consider utilizing UV glass protection.
Mats, frames, and wall-hanging materials are not provided with the collage.
