-John Winston Lennon, Nobody Told Me

This artwork is an abstract representation of my concern regarding the ongoing humanitarian and political challenges that continue to afflict our society, as well as the troubling indifference exhibited by some individuals toward these issues. There are times when it appears that we are regressing. The imagery of the smoke stack not only symbolizes environmental pollution but also reflects how society is being contaminated by ignorance, prejudice, greed, and indifference. The depiction of individuals engaged in festivities serves as a stark representation of society’s blatant disregard and carelessness. It has become increasingly acceptable to display vitriol, prejudice, and mercenary behavior.
