Poster -Strange Days Indeed
Everybody's talking and no one says a word
Everybody's making love and no one really cares
There's Nazis in the bathroom, just below the stairsAlways something happenin' and nothing goin' on
There's always something cooking and nothing in the pot
They're starving back in China so finish what you gotNobody told me there'd be days like these
Nobody told me there'd be days like these
Nobody told me there'd be days like these
Strange days indeed, strange days indeed
-John Winston Lennon, Nobody Told MeThis artwork is an abstract representation of my concern regarding the ongoing humanitarian and political challenges that continue to afflict our society, as well as the troubling indifference exhibited by some individuals toward these issues. There are times when it appears that we are regressing. The imagery of the smoke stack not only symbolizes environmental pollution but also reflects how society is being contaminated by ignorance, prejudice, greed, and indifference. The depiction of individuals engaged in festivities serves as a stark representation of society’s blatant disregard and carelessness. It has become increasingly acceptable to display vitriol, prejudice, and mercenary behavior.
