The lamp comes inside the box with the shade packed upside down. When you remove it from the box (following the instructions printed on the inner flaps), you remove the plastic ring, remove the shade, turn the shade right side up, and then secure it to the socket with the plastic ring again.; Wipe the dust off gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Children should be monitored to ensure they do not play with the lamp. The lamp is not waterproof. Use only with the specified voltage. Always unplug when not in use. If the cord is damaged, stop use immediately. Unplug before assembly or cleaning.Pendant (no plug) cord is meant for permanent ceiling installation by a qualified electrician. Use it as a pendant light by simply removing the bottom lid, providing increased brightness to any space.
